Leadership
A Leader's Leader
Early in her career, Davis pioneered a new venture in a budding industry -- a New York-based reinsurance company with offices in Bermuda, Dublin and London. As communications manager for the global company and its two subsidiaries, she gained competency in new business start-ups and contributed to the company’s top industry placement by launching a highly successful, strategic communications program.
Davis previously served as principal of Hermes Communications, Inc., a marketing and executive coaching firm in Phoenix, Arizona, before relocating to Michigan. In two subsequent roles -- investment and public relations manager for a Fortune 500 company and director of strategy for an internationally-recognized, non-profit organization -- she gained expertise in strategic planning, corporate communications, issue management, and leadership training.

Davis is the founder of Mentoring Leadersâ„ , an advanced training program for existing and emerging leaders and leadership teams, and Mentoring Trailblazersâ„ , a leadership development program designed specifically for professional women. She is also the architect of the JSI Opportunity Survey™, a unique self-assessment tool, which measures three levels of leadership competency.
She is a graduate of the University of Michigan and University of New Haven, where she earned BA and MBA degrees, respectively. Davis is an Inforum Michigan-certified executive leadership coach and holds an international certification in Personality Dimensions, a data-based, temperament assessment tool delivered through group training. She currently serves on the executive committee of the Auburn Hills Chamber of Commerce board of directors.
